K.A.R. 115-2-1
This permanent regulation establishes the majority of the Department’s fees. Due to the recently expanded night-vision coyote hunting season, which was extended from three months to approximately six months, the Department is adjusting its night-vision coyote fees. The Department is now delineating between residents and nonresidents in charging for a night-vision coyote hunting permit. The regulation also raises these fees from $2.50 to $52.50 for a nonresident permit and $27.50 for a resident permit. The regulation will also impose a $10 fee for duplicate vessel registrations.
Economic Impact
This regulation will have a total annual direct compliance cost of approximately $184,100, or $920,500 over the initial five-year period following adoption of the regulation.
