Kansas Public Employees Retirement System

Request for Proposals

The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS) is soliciting competitive proposals from qualifying institutions to provide third-party administrator services for the KPERS long-term disability plan that is administered by KPERS. Candidates must also be able to provide death and disability medical evaluations and consulting services for the Kansas Police & Firemen’s Retirement System.

Candidates should respond to this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of providing such services for KPERS and the Kansas Police & Firemen’s Retirement System; this request does not include services for the Retirement System for Judges.

Details are available in the RFP document at the KPERS website at http://www.kspers.gov. Proposals must be received electronically by KPERS no later than 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) April 20, 2026. All related questions should be in writing and directed to Mary Beth Green, Deputy Executive Director for Modernization at mgreen@kspers.gov.
