Public Notice

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Alternative Benefit Plan (ABP). The state adds the 1905(a)(29) Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) benefit of the SUPPORT Act to the ABP. The state assures that as outlined in 42 CFR §440.345, EPSDT services will continue to be available to all eligible ABP beneficiaries.

The proposed effective date of the SPA is October 1, 2020, pending Section 1135 approval.
