Public Notice

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has reached an agreement for the purchase of a tract of land in Russell County, Kansas. The parcel consists of 27.8 acres, more or less, as described per appraisal in the SW corner of the SW/4 of Section 6, Township 13 South, Range 12 in Russell County, Kansas. The appraised value is $40,300. The total purchase price is $39,800. This tract shall be managed as part of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Wilson Wildlife Area and will remain on the county’s tax rolls.
